RIKA Climate UV-C Combined Ceiling Ventilation combines UV-C treatment of incoming air with a diffuse ceiling and controlled ceiling inlets.
Fresh outside air is treated with UV-C before entering the attic and being distributed into the pig house. The system is designed to achieve >95% inactivation of the most common viruses and bacteria.
Incoming air passes through specially designed UV-C air supply units with high-reflectivity inserts. The UV-C light sources are positioned in a precisely calculated pattern to ensure that the air receives the required UV-C intensity before entering the pig house.
The treated air is then distributed through the diffuse ceiling and controlled ceiling inlets. The solution can be pressure- or temperature-controlled and is designed for easy retrofitting and compatibility with existing ventilation solutions.
The RIKA Climate 108 climate computer controls ventilation according to indoor and outdoor temperature, ventilation curves and animal age. Optional humidity, CO₂ and pressure monitoring provide additional climate data.
The system includes alarms for power failure and incorrect temperatures, while each individual UV-C light source is monitored by the alarm system.
