RIKA Climate Wall Ventilation is a negative-pressure ventilation system developed for temperate climates and adaptable to most types of pig houses.
Fresh air enters through automatically controlled wall inlets, while exhaust air is removed through roof-mounted chimney fans, providing controlled air exchange throughout the year.
At low outdoor temperatures, incoming fresh air is mixed with the air inside the pig house before reaching the pigs’ living area. This helps maintain a stable, draught-free indoor climate while avoiding unintended heating of the supply air.
As ventilation requirements change, the controlled wall inlets and roof fans adjust the airflow to support stable temperature and air quality for the pigs.
The RIKA Climate 108 climate computer adjusts ventilation according to indoor and outdoor temperature, ventilation curves and animal age. Optional humidity and CO₂ monitoring provide additional climate data.
The system also includes alarms for power failure and incorrect temperatures, with battery backup for temperature-controlled emergency opening.
